Josette Franklin has been in education for the past twenty-five years and has served as Teacher, Consultant, Curriculum Specialist, Assistant Principal, and Principal in both the private and public school sector. She began working with the Department of Human services seven years ago and enjoys helping our foster youth navigate through the academic arena as they attain self-sufficiency. In her work as an Education Quality Specialist, Josette provides consultation and trains educators on the barriers to promotion and graduation for youth in foster care. She also trains child welfare staff on how best to mitigate those barriers.
