Lashawnda Woods-Roberts is a Senior Assistant District Attorney in the Fulton County Juvenile Court. She represents the State, supports victims’ rights, and makes recommendations on the best interests of children 16 and under appearing before the Court for delinquent behavior. Prior to her current role, she served as an education law and policy attorney in Georgia and South Carolina. She attended the University of South Carolina School of Law and Florida A&M University. Upon graduating law school, she was a 2018 Equal Justice Works fellow with a project focused on justice-involved children and their access to education. Before becoming a public interest attorney, she was a secondary teacher, after school program development specialist, and college and career coordinator. She is the proud mother of a 15-year-old son and enjoys spending time with family, volunteering in the community, and creating various forms of art.
