Dennis was born and raised in Detroit Michigan. He graduated from Cass Technical HS in 1985. In 1987, he enlisted into the United States Air Force and served for ten years.
Dennis began his career with Southern Company in January of 2006 as a contract employee in the IT department. He is currently the Telecom Supervisor for NE Operations.
Prior to coming to Southern Company Dennis worked at such companies as: Scientific Atlanta as an IT Technician, QuickTrip Corporation as a Computer/Electronic Technician, and served his country with the United States Air Force as a Ground Radio Communications Technician.
Dennis has been a member of the Southern Company – Atlanta Toastmasters Club since April 2019.
He is a graduate of the University of Phoenix and holds a Bachelors of Science in Information Technology – IT Security.

Dennis is married to Tedra and they have four sons, Dominique (33), Devin (29), Landon (10), and Lincoln (7).
Dennis is active in his church, Fellowship of Love, as a Youth Sunday School Instructor. He serves as the Executive Director for the non-profit organization, Thrive Youth Development, Inc., and serves on the Architectural Review Board of the HOA of the Villages of Lafayette Park.
